A green movement is growing
A largely plant-based diet has direct benefits to human health, animal welfare, and the integrity of the ecological system we all depend on for food. And it’s sustainable. It’s rather surprising that a single dietary choice could have such a significant global impact. Simply choosing one plant-based meal a day will have a positive outcome across the entire world food system.

Plant a Seed & See What Grows Foundation
The future belongs to the young, so they need to be cultivated, like a garden. The vision of this charitable organization is to help create a healthier generation through experiences that connect us to the land. Meatless Monday
Meatless Monday is a non-profit initiative developed in association with the Johns Hopkins’ Bloomberg School of Public Health. It advocates the elimination of meat once per week, to improve health and reduce your carbon footprint. The project began in 2003 and is active in 36 countries and growing. La Via Campesina
La Via Campesina comprises about 164 local and national organizations in 73 countries. It is an international movement representing some 200 million small and medium-size farmers, women farmers, migrant agricultural workers, and indigenous landless people from all around the world. La Via Campesina promotes sustainable agriculture and opposes corporate "agri-business" and huge transnational companies that are destroying nature and undermining small-scale farming. Schools for Chiapas
Schools for Chiapas is working with the Zapatista community in Chiapas, Mexico to design a mother seed program to identify and eradicate all GMO contaminations – a first for the world.
