A green movement is growing

A largely plant-based diet has direct benefits to human health, animal welfare, and the integrity of the ecological system we all depend on for food. And it’s sustainable. It’s rather surprising that a single dietary choice could have such a significant global impact. Simply choosing one plant-based meal a day will have a positive outcome across the entire world food system.

VegiDay is part of a global community that encourages each of us to support a sustainable future in whatever way we can, whether it’s buying organic, saying NO to GMOs, helping in a community garden, or educating future generations on the importance of caring for the planet. Some of the other organizations working to make a difference are described below:

The future belongs to the young, so they need to be cultivated, like a garden. The vision of this charitable organization is to help create a healthier generation through experiences that connect us to the land. The Plant a Seed & See What Grows book was written to inspire children to respect and care for the Earth. VegiDay is a proud supporter of the Plant a Seed Foundation.
